The following terms and conditions govern all services provided by The Brothers Barbers, located at 9a Leigham Ct Rd, London SW16 2ND. By booking or receiving a service from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
1.1. Contractual Agreement: The act of booking, attending, or confirming an appointment, whether via website, telephone, or in person, signifies the client’s full understanding and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Appointments, Cancellations, and No-Shows
2.1. Late Arrivals: Clients who arrive more than 10 minutes late for a scheduled appointment may have their service modified or cancelled entirely to prevent disruption to subsequent appointments. 2.2. Cancellation Policy: A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment without penalty. 2.3. No-Shows and Late Cancellations: Failure to provide the required 48 hours’ notice, or failing to attend a scheduled appointment (a "No-Show"), will result in the forfeiture of any deposit paid. The shop reserves the right to charge up to 100% of the scheduled service fee to protect against lost revenue. This fee must be settled before any future bookings can be made.
3. Pricing, Payments, and Service Scope
3.1. Quoting and Estimates: All prices displayed are standard fees. Initial quotes for complex services are estimates only, and the final price may be adjusted based on hair length, density, or unexpected service requirements. Any significant price adjustment will be communicated to the client prior to commencing the additional work. 3.2. Payment: Full payment for all services and products is due immediately upon the completion of the service. 3.3. Gift Vouchers: Gift vouchers must be presented at the time of service and cannot be exchanged for cash.
4. Health, Safety, and Liability
4.1. Duty of Disclosure: Clients must inform the shop of any relevant health conditions, allergies, or sensitivities prior to service. 4.2. Mandatory Patch Testing: For all chemical services (e.g., colour, bleach, toning), a mandatory allergy alert test (patch test) must be performed on the shop premises at least 48 hours prior to the main appointment. 4.3. Refusal of Service (Safety): The shop reserves the right to refuse or discontinue any chemical service if the client fails to attend or refuses the mandatory 48-hour patch test. We also reserve the right to refuse service to any client exhibiting signs of a contagious skin or scalp condition. 4.4. Refusal of Service (Conduct): The shop reserves the right to terminate a service immediately if a client engages in abusive, aggressive, discriminatory, or dangerous behaviour towards staff or other clients. 4.5. Personal Items: The Brothers Barbers is not liable for the loss or damage of any personal items brought onto the premises.
5. Complaints and Guarantee
5.1. Complaint Period: Any dissatisfaction regarding the service provided must be reported to the shop management within 7 calendar days of the original appointment. 5.2. Remedial Action: We reserve the right to attempt to rectify the issue through a corrective service appointment before considering any monetary refund. Refunds are granted solely at the discretion of the management.
6. General Provisions
6.1. Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 6.2. Data Protection: Personal information, including contact details and sensitive health data (e.g., patch test results), is collected and processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation (GDPR/DPA 2018) for the sole purpose of fulfilling safety obligations and managing your appointment.
